“Maps” by Aleksandra Mizielinska and Daniel Mizielinski
The publisher says… Travel the world without leaving your living room. This book of maps is a visual feast for readers of all ages, with lavishly drawn illustrations from the incomparable Mizielinskis. It features not only borders, cities, rivers, and peaks, but also places of historical and cultural interest, eminent personalities, iconic animals and plants, cultural events, and many more fascinating facts associated with every region of our planet.
Eva says… Sometimes two weeks is just NOT enough to look at a [library] book, and that’s when you know you need to BUY it. And that’s what’s going on with THIS one. It’s all maps of every place in the world, I bet. Even VERMONT.
And what’s amazing is that the maps have all these FACTS on them, and THAT’S what takes a long time. You could learn so much just by reading those facts.
So this is one we need to get. It’s just too much to look at in two weeks.
